Job description:Saturday or Sunday Job. L shape fitting needed of new B&Q kitchen worktops (purchased already - not marble but common wood chip with charcoal colour laminate). One 45% join and one straight join. Joins need to be done with brackets (purchased) and glue, no metal strips. Finished worktops will need to take there own weight temporarily (i.e with batons). After fitting, the property owner will position units beneath and raise these to take the worktops' collective weight. All surrounding walls are brick so can easily hold worktop weight in meantime. Sink and electric hob will need cutting, fitting and sealing into worktops. SECOND JOB 3 or 4 shelves needed fitting into alcove approx 1.5 metre wide, 40cm deep. Wood not purchased yet. Property owner will paint shelves after fitting to same colour as wall behind and surrounding. Looking for simple, clean, seamless finish into alcove. strong wood needed that wont sag (perhaps 1.25 - 1.75CM thick shelves?). Suggestion for appropriate materials welcomed and can be brought along by workman if possible and purchased. Expect this to be approx one day's work
