Replace existing kitchen work-top 684cm x 61cm x 28mm and fit new sink. High quality solution wanted in Westgate

Needed: Kitchen Specialist in Westgate, IP1

Job submitted:Sep 3, 2009

Job description:I have an Ikea fitted kitchen with a real wood work-top. The total dimensions of the work-top are 684cm x 61cm (2ft) x 28mm thick. I like my kitchen units very much, but the wooden work-top is now horribly stained with water marks and burns. In short, although I appreciate like look of a real wood work-top, I think I need something which is maintenance free. At the same time as changing the work-top, I would also like my sink changed to a Belfast sink (with suitable taps) I’m not sure what type of work-surface I would like to go for (material wise), although I’d like it black in colour. I have a rough idea of what these things cost, but I would ideally like someone to guide and advise me on the best solution for me, as well as supply and fit it of course (including the sink). I am happy to consider all material options including Corian, but I think stone might be too much? This is an immediate requirement and something I would like to get sorted in the shortest possible time.

Budget:£1,000 - £2,000
