Job description:We would like to make our loft a useable space but still only accessed by a loft ladder. We have 2 Velux skylights and power to the loft and some boarding out so it is easy to look at and access. However we have a bowing timber which needs some attention prior to the loft becoming a fully useable space. We do not want a loft conversion but we do want to make use of the space so stud work walls and insulation will be required plus minor electrics for plug sockets. No planning required as we are not going for a full conversion.
