Already have converted attic, need existing dormers extended and toilet fitted in Craigentinny Duddingston
Needed: Loft Conversion Specialist in Craigentinny Duddingston, EH7
Job submitted:Apr 16, 2008
Job description:I have a semi detached bungalow which has an attic conversion with dormers. However the dormers are smaller than I would like and wondered if it is possible to get larger dormers put on. I have attached a picture of the front of the house and would like to take the dormers as far along to the bay window as possible. The dormers are effectively 2 windows wide and the rest of the upstairs rooms are restricted with angled ceilings, so ideally I would like to redo the dormers making them as large as possible with new windows. Also whether it would be possible to change the shower room upstairs. It currently has a shower and basin, but I would prefer to make the room slightly bigger to accomodate a toilet, basin and shower, with access from the hall rather than one of the bedrooms. The conversion already has a full staircase, all electrics and plastering has been done. What would be the best way to get this done? Would it be getting the entire dormer redone or just extending the existing dormer and putting in new windows? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Budget:£8,000 - £15,000
