Converting unused attic space into an upstairs bathroom in Fountainbridge Craiglockhart
Needed: Loft Conversion Specialist in Fountainbridge Craiglockhart, EH11
Job submitted:Mar 16, 2008
Job description:The attic in my property is already mostly converted into rooms, however there is still an area of unconverted attic space that I want to use as an upstairs bathroom. The attic floor space is approx 265cm long (from gable end to internal wall), and 300cm wide (from internal wall to the end of the eaves). It's more or less rectangular in shape. We'll need to put in a dormer window to increase the ceiling height, and I think this should be about 150cm wide to maximise head room. There is already a plain door (opening outwards from space into upstairs corridor) which I would want to change to a glass door to let light in to the top of the stairs. Once converted, the room will need to be tiled to bath height (including floor), plastered the rest of the way, then fitted with free-standing bath, WC, basin and towel heater.
Budget:I'm not sure
