Job description:Passed plans available but bilding warrant expired due to having to stop word due: - previous contractor doing more work elsewhere then going into receivership! - Divorce, completed dec 2008. 2 bed apartment with Jack n Jill bathroom, large living space with extension/patio doors, entrance lobby / utility space ... to be plumbed for later conversion to small kitchenettee (not in this process). Ceilings & lighting fitted but not connected. walls frames, wired but not plasterboarded. - independant heating system to supply/fit. - bathroom or showerroom to supply fit. - some external rouchcasing/sealing of windows etc to complete. Pleanty good access and parking at rear. works can commence and progress without affecting the main house. No debris etc to remove as this all been done ... sadly mostly by myself!! the goal is to have the rooms servicable in order to take in a professional lodger to help defray mortgage costs which increased after the divorce. timescale. After living on a building site from 2004-2007 would like to enjoy property this summerand have guests then star the works Aug onwards. Looking for prompt completion at competitive price due divorce as life must go on. Will prepare job spec to accompany plans to identify what has been done and what is to do. Once quotes available will discuss with Building Control about re-starting the works as I had alreday extended one at costs for the contractors to let us down.
