Job description:I have a two story garage outbuilding. I would like to turn the upstairs room (18 x 32ft) into liveable space. Unfortunatley it has a low ceiling. The roof is a pitched roof held up by 2x4 wood roof trusses with W cross beams every 1 1/2 ft approx. I would like to investigate the possibility of removing all the trusses and replacing with steel beams so the internal celing follows the roof line. The job would include making good the room so it is suitable for living space.
