Job description:Work required includes: Loft conversion into one bedroom, including proper stairway and doorway (loft about 5m*4m useable space). Break through new door way into first floor bathroom from bedroom and construct partition wall (2m long) to split the room. Remove existing partition wall, cupboard and hotwater tank. Install two bathroom suites. Break through new door in bedroom and block up old door. Remove wall between kitchen and dining room (approx 2m) including providing beam to support. Break through new double door into dining room from second reception room. Install new plumbing system including about 8 radiators in modified rooms and combi boiler. All work to include plastering to return to existing standard and woodwork. Not to include painting walls/woodwork or floor coverings. There's obviously quite a lot here and its not just loft conversion. But as some of the other work requires an assessment of structural integrity to ensure new openings can be safely made, a loft conversion specialist should be the right kind of tradesman. All work will need to be to Building Regs standard and a price for obtaining approval should be included.
