Job description:The rafters / trusses are of a design 'Queen' style and I am looking at shifting some of the beams to create and 'Open / attic' style formation ensuring they are robust and structurally sound. To use scientific method ( engineer) to optimise storage space without compromising on the structural robustness. Need to have guarantee that the roof will not cave in in any way. I am not looking at major loft conversion but ONLY to reposition a few truss beams which may involve strengthening a few beams.Need advice and quote.
