Job description:My loft project is on a tight budget, so I will be doing some parts of it myself to keep costs down, or getting in a specific tradesman when necessary later. The items I would like you to quote for are: Scaffolding Demolition and removal of waste Supply and install 2 steel beams and padstones etc Supply and Fit new floor joists Build dormer and do all exterior work on it Fit windows to dormer Fit velux window x 2 Supply and fit new staircase Make alterations to existing internal wall next to staircase, including fitting of new steel sections Patially brick-up existing gable window and fit new smaller window in place I do not want you to quote for any insulation works (apart from what is included in the flat roof), internal felting/battening, plasterboarding, plastering, stud partitions, flooring, electrics, plumbing/drainage. I have detailed drawings which have been submitted to Building Control for approval, (expected by end of Jan). I can e-mail you all the paperwork.
