Job description:1. Erection of scaffolding from ground floor to the front and rear of the property to roof level (third floor) to provide adequate access for all relevant works. The ground floor flat owner has provided consent but erection & access is to be agreed prior to commencement on site. 2. Erection of temporary roof 3. Careful removal of existing slate roof ensuring all tiles are removed and adequately stored and protected for re-installing. 4. Procurement, delivery & installation of structural steel members in accordance with the structural engineers drawings to support the existing rafters. All supporting block work walls / lintels within existing walls to be completed prior to the above. 5. Timber roof alterations to include formation of 3No. dormers and 4No. roof light openings 6. Installation of roof waterproofing membrane, battens and existing slates (new where required upon written approval), to include lead lined dormers and all relevant external flashing works to architectural details. 7. Installation of dormer and roof light windows in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. 8. Installation of insulation and plasterboard to all internal roof area. 9. Installation of single storey flight dog-leg timber staircase in accordance with architectural details and specification. 10. Installation of temporary ply wood floor to roof space – all other internal finishes by others 11. Removal of temporary roof, scaffolding and associated contractors equipment and materials.
