Job description:Most urgent is: BEDROOM (NEGLECTED); - Remove ceiling and freize polystyrene tiles - Replastering ceiling (1st class job required) - One light to be removed; '4? downlighters to be added - Existing electrical socket to be raised above skirting level - Additional electrical socket required - Remove picture rails, recess built in cupboard, plastering corner to excelent standard will be required - At least one skirting board to be removed along with all 'beading' between all skirtings and floor - Sealing and painting ceiling - Steam-strip wallpapers (2 layers, I think) - Caulk filler needed between wall and skirtings - Paint all woodwork: u/coat, gloss coat, light sanding then 2nd gloss coat BUT WINDOW SURROUNDS to be painted with Sikkens - Existing vinyl tiles on floor to remain (under the existing carpet) - Remove and take away existing carpet - OPEN UP HARDBOARD on the breast wall to check what is under it (not done in at least 38 years) - Hoping to make a cupboard in that recess, i.e. add doors with vents - Certainly a vent needs puting in breast wall for good ventilation - I intend to buy flat pack wardrobes/cupboard, so erection and placement of these are required - Disposal of unwanted existing wardrobe - As a guide, ceiling area is approx. 22 sq m - Excellent standard of plastering is required for all plastering work - All electrical work to be in accordance with latest safety standards - Viewing for quotation is recommended - Fix wooden batten for curtain rail to fix on to. - Probably more items to do, e.g. depending on size of flat pack cupboards, may have to remove skirtings at 2 recesses, i.e. 4 skirting boards - Removal of all rubbish and leave site clean and tidy I ALREADY HAVE ONE ESTIMATE FOR THIS WORK. OTHER ROOMS AND HALL/LANDING/STAIRS TO BE DONE
