Job description:I just had my new solid core security door installed after my PVC one got kicked in, and am looking to have it painted. The door furniture, paneling and a coat of primer have all been applied and I believe the remaining steps are: 1. Fill any cracks with wood filler (any type best?) 2. Sand down with fine sand-paper 3. Paint one coat of primer (should this be oil-based?) 4. One coat of undercoat 5. One coat of gloss paint (is Dulux best?) 6. Is a second coat of gloss paint needed? (the door is fairly exposed to the elements)
