Job description:Work to be completed - Strip wallpaper from landing, lounge and front room and wall paper landing, stairway, lounge and front room with customer supplied wall paper; Paint all wood work on landing, Lounge and front room including all doors and Stair spindles and handrails including cupboard doors and all bedroom doors on both sides and architrave and paint ceilings in landing, stairway area, lounge and front room; Flush lighting cable into wall on landing and make good plaster; Add additional light switch on landing; Change loft hatch door and architrave; Plane upstairs box room door to close properly; Change landing radiator for direct replacement and fit thermostatic radiator valve; Re-grout upstairs toilet floor and wall where original grout has cracked and fit door trim between tiles and landing in toilet; Secure and fix floorboards where lose on the landing and repair bottom four steps on staircase so the they are secure and sturdy; Supply and fit coving to landing, lounge and front room; Fit double radiator under lounge window and allow for plumbing to new radiator, radiator to have thermostatic radiator valve; Re-plaster damp section of plaster by the kitchen door with breathable undercoat plaster; Supply and fit glazed kitchen door to customers specification; Install double socket to lounge wall behind the sofas in their current position and add socket for projector with isolation spur at low level in lounge; Increase wall lights (provided by Mr Madhu) in lounge and front room and replace all light switches in landing, lounge and front room to plain white fittings; Remove gas fire in front room and permanently cap of gas supply and brick up existing fireplace and install white grilled air vent and remove old fireplace halve in floor and level so it is flush with the flooring; Repair/adjust cupboard doors in both lounge and front room; Re-plaster by the side of the front door and make good of front room ceiling. Also make good all chases for new electrical cables; Change cracked panel in glazed sliding door with ‘Autumn leaf’ glass; Fit laminate floor (to be supplied by Mr Madhu) in lounge and front room with beading around all edges to cover expansion gap and finally re-hang sliding doors so that the laminate floor can run underneath; Notes of works - If upon removal of wallpaper the plaster needs to be replaced then this will be done, Removal of all rubbish to be included in this quotation and all work must be clean as home will be occupied, Gas works to be carried out by Gas Safe accredited engineer, Electrics to be carried out by NIC accredited engineer, All works to carried out by fully insured tradesmen, All work to be guaranteed and agreed as part of a written agreement with a 10% deposit paid prior to the work commencing and balance of final payment to be paid on satisfactory completion of all work within the agreed timescales. All work to be done in June/July 2012.
