Needed: Painter / Decorator in City Centre, M4

Job submitted:Oct 17, 2010

Job description:I need an odd-job man to carry out several property maintenance tasks at my flat in Manchester. these include: fixing eight lengths of decking on the terrace upstairs (a circle saw or jigsaw will be required to cut the planks to the right length and in a couple of cases width) These planks are above decking so will require either being losely screwed down or perhaps hinged to the adjoining planks so they can be regularly opened and the underlying guttering checked and cleared. fixing serverl wonky toilet roll holders to the wall painting several damp areas (white paint already purchased and leaks fixed, but unsure if a base layer will be needed or some anti-mould paint probably a case of suck it and see) ceiling smoke detector fixed up back in place downstairs shelf fixed back up in place two doors re-planing or hinges moving as the don't shut flush winter curtain rail tracks being looked at - they constantly catch at the joins and curtains cannot be drawn properly (solution may be just to hang as per room upstairs) Bit of a mixed bag! I've got a budget of a few hundred pounds for the lot. I'm not about to do them and have lost the knack being office-bound in London.

Budget:£250 - £500
