Job description:We urgently require the services of a professional to totally re-fit our main drawing room (8.7m x 4.2m), including strip of all paint/paper of walls and ceiling. Removal of period fireplace and fit of modern surround with opening/testing of chimney to sustain open fire. Potential (undecided) erection of false ceiling and fit of new 12v main lighting system with mood controls throughout and refit of coving. Fit of new curtains with electrics for power. Strip of carpet and floor and fit of new parquet (type) floor. Total modernisation of this substaintial room to design (alternative designs/ideas welcome). Removal of debris and all making good, including painting of all interior woodwork (2 large, 1 small windows and skirting). AV System with plasma display is being fitted currently. We want this room to look and feel new! Also, Bedroom 3 (4.4mx3.9m) total strip of inbuilt wardrobes, walls and ceiling. Removal of period fireplace and replace of modern surround (no checking of Chimney required). False ceiling with 12v lighting, strip of flooring replaced with parquet (type) floor. Erection of shelving and strip and paint of all internal woodwork (2 small windows and skirting. As with the drawing room, decoration is to be made to design, ideas and alternatives welcome. Invitations are extended for competitive quotes to refit these two rooms of a substantial period house from professional quality craftsmen. Satisfactory outline quotes will result in on-site visit and invitation to inspect property. Satisfactory execution and quality of work will almost certainly result in further contracts to refit remaining rooms and exterior of property.
