Job description:Plastering onto Damp Proofing membrane We’re looking for a plasterer to apply bonding coat plaster to approximately 50m2 of membrane. The membrane has been applied to stop damp coming through a solid stone wall by a specialist contractor. The membrane has mesh to it’s outer face and is designed to accept plaster directly to this face. The walls are quite undulating and the bonding coat plaster will remove these undulations. The smoothed wall is then to be over-coated in multi-finish plaster (approx 50m2 again). The membrane is fixed at 200mm centres and is very rigid once fixed. The walls extend around three rooms.
