Job description:We are looking to have some builders work done to the front elevation of a terraced house on Bear Road, Brighton. There are cracks in the external render, the timber windows are rotted and require replacing and similarly the eaves and fascia are in poor repair. I have established, what I believe, is a summary list of the work required. 1.0Remove all loose/spalled plaster on retaining wall pier 2.0Repair damaged brickwork to retaining wall pier 3.0Repair render on retaining wall 4.0Remove all loose/spalled plaster on front elevation 5.0Form drip recess to both window reveals 6.0Repair render finish on front elevation 7.0Remove 2 No. existing timber frame window and remove from site 8.0Install new uPVC double glazed units (FENSA certified) 9.0Remove timber facia and soffit and replace with uPVC profiles 10.0Replace uPVC down-pipe and guttering for new We are looking for a reliable and competent tradesman to complete the above from start to finish i.e. arrange access (scaffolding); remove all debris from site and make-good and remedial work both internally and externally. Ideally we would like the work completed as soon as possible If you are interested, you could indicate an approximate cost and time to complete the project.
