Bathroom that's been patched for years needs some re-plastering -loose plaster already cleared in Arboretum

Job description:one room: bathroom in a 1900 mid terrace. There's been years of bad patching and 'making do' but all original loose plaster has been cleared off so re rendering and skimming some areas - possibly half the room. Also a textured sloping ceiling that I"d be interested in knowing if it was possible to skim rather than trying to clear.
