Job description:Had cracks in plasterwork in the ground, first and second floors of this shop and maisonnette above inspected by a structural engineer. He has recomended that the plaster in the alcove between the chimney and th efront wall be removed and replaced. He has stated that if the brickwork is found to be cracked this will need to have the mortar cut out and repointed and tie the wall to the chimney breast with 5 thick by 30 wide galvanised mild steel straps at 400c/c.
