Job description:Plastering Ceilings to receive 12.5mm-foil backed plasterboard screwed at 230mm centres using 38mm drywall screws. Note: Fix boards along the rafters with long edge centred over rafter, ensure staggered joints and ends are located over a support. Tape joints ready for plaster skim coat. Allow for opening 600 x 1200mm opening for timber loft hatch. (16m²) Provide necessary timber noggings and encase steal beams with 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard 2 give 1 hour fire protection. (3Lnm) 2no. Skylights to receive 12.5mm-foil backed plasterboard screwed at 230mm centres using 38mm drywall screws. Plasterboard to be cut to suite rake of lightwell to provide optimum light. Tape joints ready for plaster skim coat. Skim Coat: Thistle multi finish plaster 2/3mm thick troweled smooth ready for decoration. (24m²) All masonry to receive sand cement under coat plaster: Minimum thickness 15mm finished with a wooden float and scratched ready to receive finish coat. Finishing coat: Thistle multi finish plaster 2/3mm thick troweled smooth ready for decoration. Include for applying PVA bonding agent to all walls prior to base coat if necessary and prior to finishing coat. Allow for waterproof addertive, necessary beading and accessories and ensure walls are vertical. (Kitchen & Boiler Room).
