Need a flex pipe fitted to a solid copper pipe, and flush valve attached in Stapleton

Needed: Plumber in Stapleton, BS16

Job submitted:Aug 29, 2011

Job description:When trying to fit a new toilet we found that the flush valve was not sitting tightly in the inlet copper pipe, but resting the weight of the entire cistern on the pipe causing a leak. We cut back the copper inlet pipe in order to fit a flex pipe. However, the flex pipe will not attach to the old copper pipe without a leak. Think perhaps this is because the pipe is a bit battered in places. There is not much space to manouvre, and we can't really get a spanner in to tighten anything because the soil pipe is in the way. We just want the flush valve attached to the inlet pipe without any leaks. We have now been without water or a toilet for 2 days! Please help us as cheap as possible as we are extremely short on funds!

Budget:Under £100
