Continuing blockage in the kitchen, water stuck in washing machine in Dunfermline Central

Job description:unblocking the problem, wherever it is, I usually just plunge the sink every month or two and it lasts for a while, but there is obviously a recorring problem that i cant get to the bottom of. I have tried removing the U bend, and its bone dry - when i plunged the sink there, all the water ended up on the washing machine.
