Job description:Dear Sir or Madam, There is a stale smell from the basement lavatory area that may require replacment of the seal from the lavatory to the soil pipe. In order to access the seal, the surrounding cover is likely to require removal and to be reinstalled and make good the area, without (hopefully) repainting the cabinet. The smell has reduced substantially from 2 weeks ago but it seems unlikely that there is a rodent problem.
