Replace Indirect Immersion Heater in Ashperton

Job description:Current Immersion Heater requires replacement (has failed with a leak). Current heater is indirect type with dual heating (heating element and internal coil for feed from downstairs boiler/central heating system. Model currently installed is a Hercules IMI Range (BS.1566.1-DF.C) Issues with Current Installation The drain cock on the current heater is threaded and unable to open so to drain will require a syphon pump (discovered this when chanigin a failed heating element !) I Have never isolated the second feed from the downstairs boiler but believe this is possible from some valves located within the bedroom wardrobe.
