Unblocking of kitchen drain in Sewell

Job description:Appears to be a blocked kitchen waste pipe (partly newish plastic pipe close to sink unit, old copper pipe that leads to a stench/downpipe - likely to be in imperial measurements). Whenever the automatic washing machine is in use, the dirty water backs up through the sink and then slowly drains away. The solution appears to be 1) replace copper pipe with new plastic fittings or 2) (remove and clean out existing copper pipe). The pipes are all internal to the property (in the kitchen). Property is a 1960 built ex-Local Authority flat on the 1st floor. The freestanding gas cooker may need to be disconnected and moved out of the way to get access to the suspect copper pipe. The washing machine may also have to be moved.
