Vaillant Ecotec turboMax plus 824E Variable Temperature problem in Carfax

Needed: Plumber in Carfax, OX1

Job submitted:Sep 13, 2009

Job description:I have a problem with a boiler. It's an Vaillant Ecotec turboMax plus 824E. It's not been used for a while as the house has been empty (a few months). The problem is that it appears to be working fine, no error codes etc, but the temperature of hot water coming from is very variable, from hot down to luke-warm. If I turn on a hot tap the green light starts flashing, and the yellow light comes on to indicate the heater is on. Then the temp reaches 80+ (or whatever) and the yellow light goes off. At this stage the water flow is hot, but soon after the water flow is just luke warm. The boiler does kick into action again, but seemingly too late. This cycle just continues indefinitely.

Budget:I'm not sure
