Leaking domestic hot water tank indirect system in Penn Hill

Job description:I have a bad leak from my domestic hot water tank which may spread to the flat below me. The system is an indirect gas fired CH and hot water system. I believe the leak is from the threaded connection between the tank and the domestic hot water discharge which appears corroded. the system is 10 years old. I have turned off the boiler, turned off the mains cold water and drained the cold header tank which has pretty much stopped the leak to prevent flooding. I am not sure whether this is a simple case of dismantling, cleaning and reassembling or a new HW storage tank but at the moment I have no CH or water! Please help!
