Job description:Hot water tank (in hall above stairs) overflow keeps running. Someone has fitted 2 bad joints (ie. metric joints on to imperial pipe) on the pipe which are now leaking through floor/ceiling. Original pipework is 3/4" grey plastic (there are no other details, I happened to find a good joint that had the size marked on it. I need 2 quotes please : 1. Reset ballcock so that it stops leaking. Replace the two bad joints (a 90degree and a 45degree). 2. Reset ballcock so that it stops leaking. Replace all overflow pipework - approx 2M down, 1M across, then 2.5M to outer wall. I need some future work so when you do the job you will also be asked to quote for : 3. Moving an electric shower from a cubicle and positioning over a bath. Stripping/capping all pipes in the cubicle so that I can remove it safely. 4. Replacing/tidying incoming pipework, including a stopcock that drips (and I am convinced doesn't fully stop the water). 5. Replace hot water tank and include one with an immersion heater (hence me considering just a quick fix on the current leak). I'd like the work done ASAP please.
