Replace end rafter and repair purlin in Abingdon Northcourt

Job description:House is end terrace, Swinburne Road. Slate roof with an external rafter on the outside of the house wall. This rafter has rotted through where it rests on the purlin and needs replacement. Some of the slates will need lifiting and remortaring. The end of the purlin is half-rotted, but seems sound within the loft. Ideally the purlin should be cut off in the loft and a new end jointed to it. Access is difficult, there is a ground floor extension below, needs scaffolding rather than ladders.
