Job description:My mother's two-storey semi-detached house in Cray has developed a damp problem and it seems that the damp is coming down a disused chimney on the gable end of the house. The external chimney was taken down years ago and I suspect the problem lies with that part of the roof; possibly the ridge tile(s) or surrounding roof area. I therefore need a roofer/builder who can diagnose the problem and fix it.
