Job description:We moved into a 1920's semi on Beulah Road, Rhiwbina back at the start of December after refurbishing the internals of the house. We noticed damp patches appearing which seem to follow the chimney breast line in the master bed room. The patches seem to worsen in wet and windy whether. Visually from the ground, there are no covers on top of the pots on the chimney and upon brief inspection by a tradesman, the mortar holding the pots in place seems to have blown and parts of the stack need re-pointing. The flashing seems to be visually in good condition. Reputable contractor required to inspect, diagnose and rectify problems to stop water ingress asap.
