Replacing of roof tile in Cleckheaton
Needed: Roofer in Cleckheaton, BD19
Job submitted:Jan 19, 2007
Job description:Due to yesterdays bad weather a slate has fallen off the top part of the roof and I'm guessing that a smal portion of the curved capping section has come off as well - hence releasing the slate. The slate is still reasonably well in tact with a small chip on one corner. The roof is sloped slate (literally slate onto the wooden trusses). The slate is large approx 40cmx60cm (I do not have it in front of me so thats a guess). There is however now a hole approx 5 cm in diameter and a gap where the missing slate should overlap with the others. I'm guessing that it should just be a case of replacing the slate and probably a portion of the capping at the apex of the roof. Ladders would be required as it is the top part of a roof on top of a two storey house.
