Job description:We have a slate-roofed, mid-terrace, three-storey townhouse in Wellesley Road, Colchester. The slates are nailed to battens with no membrane or felt beneath. As the slates are getting on a bit they are letting drips through into the loft (and presumably behind the sloping ceilings of top floor rooms). I'm guessing the slates need to be removed, some kind or membrane added, then slates replaced?
