Job description:I have a flat garage roof that needs the roofing felt replacing. It is 5.7m long by 2.6m wide. it is accessible on three sides with one side butting up against the house. At the moment it has very old felt on it with a covering of chippings. The roof is constructed from planks not sheet material and although some water has come through the timber looks sound. It has guttering down the long side which I will remove for painting before any roofing work starts. It is important that no water is allowed to get in while the felt is replaced as there are items in the garage that would be damaged if they were to get wet.
