Repair or re-roof? in New Town

Job description:I have been living in my mid-terrace house for a year. I have recently noticed some bubbles in the paint in the spare room. Going into the loft I found a decidedly soggy looking area which had been underlaid with black bin bags (not by me!!) My Dad went up on the roof and sealed the area above this but the water is still coming through. I have a slate roof on a mid-terrace property and would like quotes to see if repair or re-roof is the best option? A long ladder would be needed for the roof, although I have a ladder to gain access to the loft.
