Roof Tiling in Exhall

Job description:We have a leak in the roof over the bathroom, water is now dripping through the ceiling of the bathroom when it rains. In the attic space above the bathroom, there is brick/wood built up next to/over the point of the leak which is damp - the waterproof lining appears to be crumpled up here, but I can't be sure if this is the issue and I'm struggling to get at it. The roof can be viewed from a higher attic window (Sloping, tiled), nothing appears to be out of place on the tiling. I don't know whether this may be sorted internally or whether it will ultimately need to be got at from outside.
