Job description:I live in a top floor flat in a tenement and have an internal leak which originates from a rainwater pipe from the roof (the pipe travels internally across the ceiling). I just had a plumber look at it and the pipe is fine but the problem is with the roof - the sealant between the roofing and the pipe is inadequate so water is flowing in along the pipe. it will need re-felting and sealing.
