To replace a worn out flat roof (5m by 2.5m). in Portobello Craigmillar

Job description:This flat roof on a kitchen/ bathroom extension to the main house measures 5m by 2.5m and is 7 foot high from the ground level. It has been leaking recently, although I have put temporary defence measures in place to stop this for the short term, so it is not an urgent job. The roof is badly worn and must be at least 20 years old, so it will require to be fully replaced. I would imagine that the original chipboard structure below will also need to be replaced as well, as it appears to be rotten in places as it is far too "springy." The main issues with the original work appear to be the "lack of an overlap" between the tiles of the main house and the flat room- this has allowed water through time, to penetrate through. The guttering at this section will also need attention (5 metres in length where the flat roof meets the tiled roof) as it is in a poor state.
