Job description:Investigate and repair area of tiled roof (on a listed building) adjacent to a gable end and chimney. Water penetration to interior wall. Junction between tiles and gable-end has lead soakers. Some of tiles will require removal for inspection of interior gable end and rafters. Evidence of cracking around base of chimney and on soldier course which require repointing. Possibility of some bricklaying required (inslide of gable may need repointing or additional support) using lime cement (supplied by house owner ready to use). Lead-work will require repair or replacement. Scaffolding required (three floors up). Insurance cover required. Experience of listed buildings beneficial.
