Flat Roof in Moortown

Job description:My property has a tiled roof. However, over the third bedroom window, there is a small flat roof approximately 8' x 5' which has a felt covering. For the last few weeks, rain has been dripping through the ceiling into the room below this flat roof. I suspect that the felt requires replacing, and this may also involve a small amount of work to the surrounding tiles on the main roof. I telephoned a builder as soon as this problem arose, but he has not turned up to do the job. In the weeks that I have waited for this builder, the plaster on the ceiling has fallen down and I now require repairs to the ceiling also. I have cancelled the job with the builder and I am now looking for someone more reliable to do the work. I expect I will need a plasterer to make good the ceiling after the roof is repaired and things dry out. I shall be paying for all the work. I have spoken with my home insurance company, and they are happy for me to get the work done by a builder of my choosing. I shall send my invoices to the insurer once the work is completed, and they will reimburse me.
