Ogee to cast iron gutter adaptor needs fitting to stop leak and overflow in heavy rain. in Warbreck

Needed: Roofer in Warbreck, L9

Job submitted:Jul 8, 2011

Job description:Fairly new plastic ogee gutters connect to next doors original cast iron ones. Joint leaks, and ogee overflows just before joint when it rains fairly heavy. Never used to before replacement. Overlap is good 4" I'm told and has been sealed with bitumen block etc 2 or 3 times. Suspect this may have created a 'lip' which forces the water over the top. From the floor the ogee looks to sit lower than the iron one it extends into? Needs a proper adaptor fitting to try and solve these two persistent problems.

Budget:Under £250
