Leaking Roof in Headington
Needed: Roofer in Headington, OX3
Job submitted:Nov 11, 2008
Job description:This has been happening for last two years to our 1930's house: whenever it rain continuously for 1-2 weeks without stopping in the winter, serious damp appears in one of hour first-floor bed room. The damp appeared only on the top part of the wall, along the joining line between ceiling and wall. So I am guessing that it's because some damaged tiles on the roof that caused leaking and therefore caused damp. One thing about the roof I have to mention is, the ex-owner of the house did foam insulation for the roof. But since the roof section on top of the damp area is very close to the edge of the roof, I don't think the foam insulation can actually reach that area.
Budget:I'm not sure
