Prevention of leak from kitchen roof through sash window wood - not sure if gutter or tile problem in Efford and Lipson

Job description:when it rains, water drips through the wood of the sash window, above the glass; not through the seam but apparently through the wood itself although hard to tell as it comes actually through the paintwork. Some tiles on that part of the roof (newer than rest of house, which was built 1910 ish) were repinned last year, and the tiles look sound, so wondering if it's a gutter problem. So far now obvious damp patches, but it's a steady dripping in heavy rain, and have had it for at least two years. Obviously want to prevent rot or damp setting in so need to fix it.
