Off-Shot Flashing in Gleadless Valley

Needed: Roofer in Gleadless Valley, S8

Job submitted:Mar 20, 2007

Job description:The flashing between the (ground floor) off-shot and main wall of my terraced house needs repairing. I think the flashing type is called "Single Step and Cover" (see http://www.wickes.co.uk/content/ebiz/wickes/resources/images/gil/22.pdf). The lead on the tiles (ceramic-type) appears to be OK, but the lead coming from the wall is partially missing and a previous owner has tried a makeshift fix. While the flashing doesn't appear to be leaking, it looks ugly(!) and we would like to have it repaired as we are planning to sell the house shortly. I think this work could probably be carried out with ladders.

Budget:N/A
