Job description:I have recently had a repair job done on my roof and it has not gone very smoothly. Among other things the lead flashings have been replaced on two chimneys. I was able to check the job for myself as scaffolding was required, and the new flashings are not tucked into the brickwork. The builder has been back and reassures me that it's all fine and said he had put silicon round the areas I was concerned about. I have not been able to check this as the scaffolding has been removed. I have not paid them yet and am concerned that there may be a problem with these flashings. I am really looking for a second opinion but this may lead to a job as I have lost confidence with the company who have done the job and are telling me it's ok and if it is a bodge job they clearly are not able to put it right.
