Job description:I live in a mid terraced property. Occasionally when it is really wet and windy water runs down the wall in the front bedroom (that adjoins the neighbouring property). On the same wall there is a large, dark, damp patch that only appeared after I painted the room about 10 months ago. In the middle bedroom on the same side there is also a large damp patch that appeared after papering and painting the room and there are water marks on the freshly painted area above the picture rail. I have spoken to the neighbouring landlord and there are no problems on his side. We have tried to look for a possible leak in the loft but have not been able to get close enough as there is no boarding in that area. I would like to know how to go about getting the area checked and then getting quotes for any work that needs doing? Thank you
