Job description:To provide us with a quotation for completing the necessary repairs to the main pitched slate roof of both the main property and the rear outbuilding (kitchen and bathroom) and provide us with a quotation for the short term recovery of the rear single storey flat roof. Property details: mid terraced character property constructed in 1821 - Grade II Listed. The roof consists of traditional pitch design with the ridge running from left to right hand sides. The covering consists of slate finish which is generally ageing with various regions of patch repair evident. There is a lead covering to the ridge and mortar upstand to the adjacent property. Some undulation was noted, particularly over the rear slope where some settlement where some settlement of the roof timbers has occurred over time. Several displaced slates were also noted. At the rear, a single storey flat roof encloses to the rear elevation. The finish comprises mineral felt. Vegetation growth was also noted to be encroaching on the covering. On stripping the covering, the decking is also found to be defective.
