Fault with burglar alarm. Alarm sounds and wont switch off in Tondu

Job description:Fault with burglar alarm. Alarm sounds and wont switch off? I have a Accenta G3 system. 8SP 400. On Boxing Night the external alarm sounded. I couldn't switch it off. "tamper" led was lit on keypad panel. After an hour the external alarm turned off, which was just as well as neighbours wanted my head on a stick! Bell box now has no power as I've tripped MCB on consumer panel, but there is a red light slowly flashing underneath bell box.
