Reset a "Veritas" alarm system showing "tamper" and replace a noisy bell transformer in Trimdon

Job description:I have a system currently installed that has a lit "tamper" light. The alarm will not currently set. The bell box outside works, the keypad inside appears to function. It's a "Veritas" alarm, but beyond that I don't know what type it is. I don't want to replace the system, just get my current one working. The alarm sounds if the power is cut, and I can silence it using the keypad. There's a magnet missing from my front door, that requires replacement. Lastly, there's a bell transformer (240v-12v) which I'm sure is part of the alarm system. It's very noisy, a buzzes all the time! I would like this unit to be replaced with a silent version. Ideally the whole system will be silent when not in use.
